Summer at the library means fun for everyone!

Read what you like, attend fun events and be rewarded for participating, no matter your age. 



Kids - (Going into 5th grade & younger)

Get ready to rock out, get groovy and have some fun at the library this summer. Keep your reading skills sharp and have a little fun by joining us for a variety of fun activities.  

Visit either library location to pick up a reading log and visit the Kids Storytimes & Programs page to learn about kids events. At the end of the summer turn in your reading log and receive a free paperback book!

Reading logs available May 21

Pick up your paperback between July 23 - August 10.


Tween & Teens - (Going into 6-12th grade) 

Be a teen summer program rock star! 

Win prizes by tracking your reading, writing reviews, completing missions or attending library events.  Click the Teen tab above to register online to track your reading and other activities. Visit the Teen Event page to see what's happening.  

Registration starts May 21.  Last day to log activities is August 18.  


Adults - (Recent high school graduates & older) 

    Summer reading isn't just for kids.  At OPL, Summer Reading for adults means reading what you enjoy, attending fun events at the library and winning prizes for participating.  Click the Adult tab above to learn the different ways you can be eligible for prizes and to register.  

    Create your account and start logging titles May 21.  

Last day to log activities is August 18.
